The question is matched betting legal is asked on forums and is a regular search phrase on internet search engines.
The simple answer to this question, is, YES, it is totally legal. Matched betting is 100% legal.
There is absolutely no disputing that. All you have to be is 18+, which is a legal requirement to place a bet in the UK.
Matched Betting Is Perfectly Legal
So now we know Matched Betting is legal, I’m going to explain why.
A bookmaker is advertising that they are going to give you a free bet when you sign up to open a new account.
All you are doing is opening the new account, and claiming the free bet. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
You are also entitled to go onto a betting exchange, and place a lay bet. This has nothing to do with the bookmaker, and is also a totally legal thing to do.
This is how matched betting works, and there is nothing wrong with doing either – placing the bet with the bookmaker, and/or placing a lay bet on the betting exchange.
So, if for example, you open a new customers account with Ladbrokes, and place a £50 bet on Liverpool to beat Chelsea at Even money.
Using A Betting Exchange Isn’t Illegal
Then go onto a betting exchange, and place a lay bet of £50 on Liverpool. This gets you a £50 free bet. You can then turn the £50 free bet into around £35 in cash.
When you weigh up the facts, all you have done with Ladbrokes, is open a new account. You then placed a bet, and Ladbrokes gave you a £50 free bet. There’s nothing illegal about that.
The fact that you also placed a lay bet of Liverpool on a betting exchange, has absolutely no bearing, or absolutely nothing to do, with Ladbrokes. It is totally your business.
So Why Isn’t Everybody Doing Matched Betting?
This is a question that pops up quite a lot, and I don’t think there is a definitive answer to this.
Personally, I believe it is because people are – rightly in my view – suspicious of something that appears to be too good to be true, and so it’s just human nature to assume there must be a catch with matched betting.
You see articles claiming it is money for old rope, or pay us £15 a month and we will show you how to make £500 a month, risk free. Why wouldn’t you be suspicious of this? I certainly would be.
You can do matched betting yourself, absolutely, and we endeavour to show you how to on this website.
The beauty of the offers listed above, is that if you do wish to go down the route of having someone show you how it works in great detail, and find all the bets for you too use, you can do so with a free trial, or a £1 trial.
So even if you are a very suspicious person, you can give it a go with nothing (or just a quid) to lose, meaning there is no reason not too at least have a look and satisfy your curiosity.
Matched Betting
There is a risk free way of making money from betting, and it’s called Matched Betting.
Matched betting enables us to make risk free money from bookmaker’s free bets and bonuses. With little or no experience, anybody can do matched betting.
Access to the internet and fifty quid is all you need too get up and running. That’s it!
Any money back special you see from a bookmaker can be used for matched betting. These can be enhanced odds offers, free bets for new customers, or reload offers.
Just watch the tv adverts during a football match and you will see some of these.
Matched betting is huge, and it shows no sign of ending anytime soon. The amount of bookmakers and competition in the market place, ensures matched betting is here to stay.
It is possible to make £500 a month from matched betting, although that does involve a lot of commitment.
If you have the time and patience, then you will succeed. So what are you waiting for, give matched betting a go.
